In June, 2008 four of us will gather in Hourma, Louisiana to test our call to live as a community.. A typical day might begin with Morning Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours and Mass and end with Evening Prayer and supper. By talking over the day's events, we will see how the Lord is present in our work and leisure. During Phase One, we will keep our jobs in order to support ourselves and contribute to community expenses. Plenty of time will be devoted to both recreation and personal needs. Opportunities for ministry will also be available.

As the Lord confirms our way of life by granting us an increase in vocations and authentic growth in the Spirit, in time we may petition the Bishop of Houma-Thibodaux to be officially designated a Public Association of the Faithful, the canonical recognition of our community. We will be open to receiving ordained members and to our brothers who might be called to Holy Orders.
