| At the dawn of World War II, a simple Polish religious by the name of Sr. Faustina Kowalska (canonized a saint in 2000) experienced many remarkable revelations from Jesus Christ, the Risen Lord concerning His Divine Mercy. |

He told St. Faustina to urge all Catholics to come frequently to what Jesus called the Tribunal of Divine Mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and to receive Him often, Divine Mercy Itself in Holy Communion. At the daily Hour of Mercy--3:00 P.M.--with so many others we pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and invoke Our Lord's Mercy on a world so in need of Him. |
Living
a Spirituality of Divine Mercy |
The Servants of Divine Mercy seek to intercede for the needs of others, to plead for God's Mercy to soften hearts hardened by sin. By continuously praying for the world, contemplatives call down the Lord's Mercy and favor on all of humanity. Yielding to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we hope to build a commuinty steeped in Divine Mercy, a place for reconciliation and healing in body, soul and spirit. We hope to be an oasis of peace in this violent and greedy world. How can people learn to live in Divine Mercy instead of the selfish misery of sin? How can they get to know Our Savior? Who will introduce them to Him? The Servants of Divine Mercy will be an evangelizing community, one that humbly, yet boldly proclaims the saving Good News. We plan to freely share what we have received by training leaders who can confidently bring Jesus Christ into the family and workplace by practically applying the life-charging principles of Divine Mercy. |
